Who is your style icon?
A whole wide-ranging, constantly revolving cast of characters: Today I’m all about Fran Fine, Tom Wolfe, Madame Carmen de Tommaso, my mom, Sally Albright, Alec Friedman, Natty Gann, Humberto Leon & Carol Lim, Emelius Browne, Katherine Bernard, Alice Lane, Margot Tenenbaum…
What do you do or what would you like to do when you grow up?
I work in fashion and study (non-fashion). Most of my work at the moment is comprised of writing for magazines and modeling; I also style from time to time.
I feel like I am at a ripe age to experiment by dabbling in as many facets of the industry as I possibly can. Gradually, over the next few years, I intend to narrow my focus and concentrate on what I found to be the most gratifying — alongside the creatives with whom I am most comfortable collaborating and whose company I regard as the most enjoyable and intellectually stimulating.
When I grow up? Well, I eventually hope to make it, give back, find some sense of fulfillment and spend more time with my nearest and dearest friends and family.
Oh, and I would love to someday grow a gorgeous, bountiful organic garden. Ideally if it’s manned by Jamie Oliver’s full-time, all-knowing, Penfield-clad supergardener. I think his name is Brian. A girl can dream!
