I was raised in North Carolina amongst the trees and the bees. For a year before I moved to NY, I toured to country so the road was my home and where I did a lot of growing up.
Where do you live?
I live in a cave in Brooklyn
Your star sign?
Taurus
What is your personal soundtrack at the moment?
My personal soundtrack at the moment is “Recomposed by Max Richter Vivaldi:The Four Seasons”. He rewrote the Four Seasons by Vivaldi. I grew up playing, listening and studying classical music. Usually I wouldn’t be too excited about someone ripping apart Vivaldi, but in this case, he did it very tastefully. I’ve always wanted to compose remixes to the six Bach Cello Suites and this motivates me to do so.
Who is your style icon?
Old people living in France. My mom in the 70′s. My dad in the 60′s and 70′s. The color wheel. The Universe.
What do you do or what would you like to do when you grow up?
I play cello and my vocal chords. I’m currently composing an original piece to be performed at the Lincoln Center in January for a friend of mine that is Choreographing a Modern Dance Piece. When I grow up , if I grow up ha ha, I would like to be a secret agent spy.

That is an absolutely adorable fusion of influences, there’s a really strong 70′s soulful vibe but with some contemporary twists. I wanna be friends with her and hear her play the cello in her cute outfits :>
